Araki Seisakusho is established by Tatsuhide Araki in Abeno-ku, Osaka, as a manufacturer of wooden products.

1960

The Company begins manufacturing industrial models.

1962

The Company concentrates its operations on industrial models.

1968

Osaka Design Model Centre Ltd, is established in Hirano-ku, Osaka, with a capital of 6 million yen and begins operation as a separate affiliate.
The name Osaka Design Model Centre Ltd, is changed to Design Model Centre Ltd.
The Company begins the planning, proposal and design of products.

1987

With changes in the industrial structure and the market for models, the company begins consolidating thirteen companies that have been separately managed affiliates.

1989

The last eight affiliates are consolidated and the company begins operation as ARRK Corporation with headquarters in Matsubara City, Osaka and a capital of 221,720,000 yen.
The economies of scale made possible by the consolidation allow the company to expand internationally and pursue full line manufacturing.
